Reham Hosny Addresses the Genesis and Development of Arabic E-Lit in King Khalid University’s Conference

Reham Hosny, research scholar at RIT, New York and assistant lecturer at Minia University, Egypt, participated in King Khalid University’s Conference, KSA, held in the period 14-16 Feb. 2017. In her paper, Reham discussed the challenges of today’s digital world and the status quo of the literary Arabic digital context. She also investigated the different approaches of defining electronic literature, the first e-lit pieces in the Arabic and Anglo-American contexts, born-digital theories, and the Arabic Electronic Literature (AEL) project.

King Khalid University honored Reham Hosny for her efforts in developing and promoting Arabic e-lit via the project of Arabic Electronic Literature (AEL).
